Rated 5 out of 5 by Robin Vanloo - above and beyond, every time! Recently I ran into a rather complex and extremely frustrating administrative issue with my car loan at DCU. Robin was the person who stepped up, fought for my interests and ultimately resolved the issue. To be exact, Robin made the issue disappear as if it never happened, which was not a trivial task in this case. Now, all things being equal, financial products are usually compared by interest rates, payments, returns, etc. However, in the faceless world of online banking, DCU in Manchester has a rare gem: a true member representative! I'm 19 now but the when i was 18 and wanted my first car loan there was no hesitation, they went over the number with me to make sure it was in budget with my income. Shout out to Darlene for being the kindest and most helpful person I have worked with in any financial institution. My boyfriend and I are trying to get pre-approved for a mortgage loan, but we are getting confused with the process. If we do the free pre-approval online do we have to pay if we get approved? Could we just come into the branch and talk to someone about getting pre-approved or do we need to make an appointment?

I'm sure you could just walk into the branch and they would be glad to help you that's what I have done with multiple auto loans. No appointment set or anything.

Applying for a Mortgage pre-approval is free. Once you submit your purchase and sales agreement for the property you wish to purchase, the $300 application fee will need to be paid. You may visit a Branch to set up an appointment or call us at 800/328-8797 option 3 to proceed with your application with a representative by phone now.
