She was not only professional, but personable. She was able to work out our financial options, while putting our minds at ease! We have never had such customer service in all of our years at our previous bank! DCU has not let us down yet, and they have the right people representing them for sure. We met with Vanessa Corrente who went above and beyond in helping us opening new accounts and take the extra time to help us setting up all the extra features and explain in details how everything works. Rated 5 out of 5 by Very nice and helpful! I went in and had to get a personal loan for a situation that came up unexpectedly. I spoke with Vanessa Corrente who was wonderful! I was on the verge of crying and she helped get me in the right direction. It came down to I could do a loan or get a credit card for the same percentage, but she pointed out that after paying off the credit card, I'd still have it for other emergencies. She was wonderful! I was so nervous and she helped me stay calm and focused. Thanks to her help I was able to get my emergency handled and still have the card for future use. Thank you, Vanessa!! April 5, 2016

My boyfriend and I are trying to get pre-approved for a mortgage loan, but we are getting confused with the process. If we do the free pre-approval online do we have to pay if we get approved? Could we just come into the branch and talk to someone about getting pre-approved or do we need to make an appointment?

I'm sure you could just walk into the branch and they would be glad to help you that's what I have done with multiple auto loans. No appointment set or anything.

Applying for a Mortgage pre-approval is free. Once you submit your purchase and sales agreement for the property you wish to purchase, the $300 application fee will need to be paid. You may visit a Branch to set up an appointment or call us at 800/328-8797 option 3 to proceed with your application with a representative by phone now.
