I found the process of opening new accounts and moving my balances over very easy. So easy, I had my immediate family move over their accounts as well. Customer service is great and the time it takes to get service, either with a teller or a personal banker is not long. Everyone I have worked with are very friendly and customer focused. Within 20 minutes of our first handshake the requested funds were in my checking account, and the APR is approximately half of what an online lender offered. Dennis was extremely friendly and courteous, and I have been recommending him as well as DCU to all of my friends and family. February 6, 2016

Answer: 
All you need is the bill of sale from the car dealer and I guess an ID. DCU handles the rest. You will have to upgrade your insurance to basically the maximum, which is expensive, but the interest rate is so low that it more than makes up for it. Early payments are penalty free, the interest isn't front loaded like when you buy a house.

Generally when pre-approved for an Auto loan, you need to provide us with a copy of your pay stub as proof of income and either the Purchase and Sales Agreement for a dealership purchase, Title and/or Registration copy and Intent to Sell form for a private party sale, or a Bill or Payment Coupon for a refinance. The time spent with a representative can be as little as 15 minutes, however, you will want to allow additional time during peak hours and other members who arrived seeking assistance before your arrival.
