FREE Paper Shredding Events
Shredder Days at DCU
Do you have documents containing sensitive and personal information taking up space in your home? Are you looking for a safe and secure way to dispose of these documents for free? We have great news for you!
DCU has partnered with E.L. Harvey to offer FREE Personal Paper Shredding so you can safely destroy your documents containing sensitive and personal information. No sign up necessary. Simply show up with your documents to be shredded and E.L. Harvey & Sons, a professional document destruction company, will take care of the rest.

Guests will be encouraged to bring donations for our collection drives being held in conjunction with each shred event. Nonprofit partners for each location will be announced in the future.
All donated items will benefit our partner, Seven Hills for backpacks and school supplies.
All dates, times, and locations are subject to change. Please check our website prior to attending. These events will take place rain or shine.
PLEASE NOTE: Paper only - no binders (paper clips, staples, and elastics are acceptable). In order to accommodate as many guests as possible and offer this as a free service for the community, there is a limit of up to five (5) banker's boxes (size 24"x 12: x 10 1/4") or five (5) paper grocery bags (size 12" X 17") per vehicle.
