I love our vacation policy. It really is second to none. We offer three weeks of vacation in the first five years of employment. One of my favorites is getting your birthday as a comp day.

Available to full and part-time employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week from date of hire. Domestic partner coverage is available. Employees each receive a weekly Cafe plan contribution that can be used toward health plan costs.
To encourage and help employees to plan for their retirement, DCU offers a 401(k) plan which permits an employee to defer taxes on the portion of his/her annual income which is deposited into the plan, using a variety of plan funds and investment options.
DCU matches 100% dollar for dollar up to 7% of an employee's salary. Employees are eligible to participate on the first day of the next quarter following their hire date. DCU will also make an annual, age-weighted discretionary contribution to employees' 401(k) plans. This contribution is made to every eligible employee.
DCU recognizes the importance of vacation time in providing the opportunity for rest, recreation, and personal activities.
Employees begin with 15 days (3 weeks) of vacation their first year and earn 20 days after 5 years, 25 days after 10 years, and 30 days after 15 years. They can carry up to two weeks of vacation over to the next year, and can sell back earned time.
Employees also receive personal days equivalent to their standard hours. The number of personal days varies each year based on the federal holiday schedule. In addition to the federal holidays, employees at DCU receive a day off on the Friday after Thanksgiving and a day for their birthday for a total of 14 paid days per year.
DCU provides both short-term and long-term disability insurance. Leaves include: maternity/paternity, bereavement, personal leave, and military leave.
Growth and member satisfaction are important indicators of how well we are delivering on our promise to our members. We recognize our employees make it happen. As a result, we reward employees for achievement through DCU's "Success Sharing" – a company-wide bonus program. By working together as a team to achieve common goals, every employee, with the exception of the CEO, is eligible to earn a bonus up to 10% of their annual salary.
DCU has a generous Tuition Reimbursement Program for employees working 20 hours or more per week and who are pursuing their Undergraduate and Graduate degrees for a variety of Business and/or Banking related majors.
Student loans can be overwhelming. To assist employees with the repayment of eligible student loans, DCU provides student loan repayment assistance up to a lifetime maximum of $10,000 for employees working 20 hours or more hours per week.
DCU offers this resource free to employees and their families to help with everyday issues. The EAP provides confidential services 24 hours per day, including counseling, tips on tape, library by mail, and online access.
