This DCU Cookie Policy describes the cookies that Digital Federal Credit Union ("DCU", "we", "us" or “our”) uses when you visit our website located at www.dcu.org, and each of our associated domains (collectively, the "Websites"), our mobile applications (the "Apps,"), and other services of DCU that you use when you communicate with us, except for digital banking accounts (collectively, the "Services").

What are Cookies and how does DCU use them?

When you visit our Services, we use and store cookies, web beacons, and pixel tags on your browser to collect information. A cookie is a small piece of data (text file) that a website – when visited by a user – asks your browser to store on your device in order to remember certain information about you. DCU’s Services use certain cookies for performance and analytics purposes – these are called first-party cookies. DCU’s Services also use third-party cookies – which are cookies from a domain different than the Services – for analytics, advertising, and marketing efforts.

The information collected might relate to you, your preferences, or your device, and is mostly used to make the Services work as you would expect and to provide a more personalized web experience. However, you can choose not to allow certain types of cookies, which may impact your experience of the site and the services we are able to offer. Click on the “Select My Preferences” button below and then click on the different category headings to find out more about each category. You cannot opt-out of our Strictly Necessary Cookies as they are deployed in order to ensure the proper functioning of our Services (such as prompting the cookie banner and remembering your settings, to log into your account, and to redirect you when you log out).

More specifically, we use cookies and other tracking technologies for the following, as well as other, purposes: assisting you in navigation of the Services; analyzing your use of our products, services, or applications; and assisting with our promotional and marketing efforts (including behavioral advertising).

How to manage Cookies

Your cookies preferences can be managed by clicking on the “Select My Preferences” button below, toggling your selections, and then clicking Confirm My Choices.

You may also be able to manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. We currently look for and recognize Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signals. To use a GPC, you can download an internet browser or a plugin to use on your current internet browser and follow the settings to enable the GPC. When we detect an enabled GPC signal from a capable browser or extension, our Services will apply opt-out from Performance Cookies, Functional Cookies, and Targeting Cookies. Please note that if you choose to decline or block cookies by adjusting your browser settings, some or all of the Services may not be functional or accessible to you. You can also use your browser settings to delete cookies stored on your device.

Please note that the cookies and other tracking technologies on our Services may change from time to time without notice. Below is a detailed list of the cookies we use on our Services.

We classify cookies in the following categories: Strictly Necessary Cookies, Performance Cookies, Functional Cookies, and Targeting Cookies. You can opt-out of each cookie category (except Strictly Necessary Cookies) by clicking on the “Select My Preferences” button below, toggling your selections, and then clicking Confirm My Choices:
