Access your accounts using your
favorite home devices.

Voice banking is the easy, hands-free way to access your DCU accounts through Amazon Alexa and Google Home devices!

Simply ask Alexa or Google for your balances, to transfer funds, for DCU's routing number, or to find out what's new at DCU.

Here's how to get started:

Google assistant

Here's What You'll Need:

  1. A DCU Membership
  2. A Google Home device
  3. The Google Home app downloaded to your smartphone or tablet

Setting up the Action the First Time:

  1. Say "Hey Google, talk to DCU"
    • Google Home will instruct you to link your account and will send a push notification to your linked phone/tablet.
  2. Select "Link" to link the DCU Action
  3. Read and accept the terms and conditions
  4. Link your account with your Online Banking login information
  5. Select "Authenticate"
  6. Create a 4-digit response code. For security we recommend that you do not use your DCU PIN

What You Can Say:

To start the Action, say "Hey Google, talk to DCU"

  • To hear all available balances, say "What’s my account balance?"
  • To Initiate a transfer, say "Make a transfer."
  • To hear the routing number, say "What is the routing number?"
  • To hear the latest news from DCU, say, "What’s new?"
  • To replay the last statement, say "Repeat"
  • To hear a list of questions/commands, say "Help"
  • To exit the Action, say "Goodbye." (The Action will close automatically if there no response for a short period of time.)
  • To disable the Action, say "Unlink."

If You Get Locked Out:

If the voice response code is said incorrectly 3 times, your access to DCU will be locked.

  1. Open DCU Voice Banking by saying "Hey Google, talk to DCU"
  2. Say "Unlock"
  3. Follow the voice prompts to relink your account and set a new Voice Response Code
Amazon Alexa

Here's What You'll Need:

  1. A DCU Membership
  2. An Alexa enabled device such as Amazon Echo
  3. The Alexa app downloaded to your smartphone or tablet

Setting up the Skill the First Time:

  1. Say "Alexa, open DCU"
    • Alexa will instruct you to enable the skill in the Alexa app and send you a link
    • You can also search for the DCU skill in the search box on the Alexa app
  2. Select "Enable"
  3. Link your account with your Online Banking login information
  4. Read and accept the terms and conditions
  5. Select "Authenticate"
  6. Create a 4-digit response code. For security we recommend that you do not use your DCU PIN

What You Can Say:
