FREE Paper Shredding Events and #TechSaturdays

Shredder Days and #TechSaturdays At DCU

Do you have documents containing sensitive and personal information taking up space in your home? Are you looking for a safe and secure way to dispose of these documents for free? We have great news for you!

DCU has partnered with E.L. Harvey to offer FREE Personal Paper Shredding where you can safely destroy your documents containing sensitive and personal information. No sign up necessary. Simply show up with your documents to be shredded and E.L. Harvey & Sons, a professional document destruction company, will take care of the rest.

Plus, we're hosting #TechSaturdays in conjunction with our Shredder Days. Let us personally demonstrate DCU’s latest banking technology including our Mobile App, Text Alerts, Online Check Deposit and much more.

2017 Dates, Locations, and Details*

These events will take place on Saturday's from 9am to 1pm beginning in April through October at DCU branch communities:

  • 4/15/17 – Franklin, MA – 500 West Central Street
  • 5/20/17 – Acton, MA – Powdermill Plaza – 100 Powdermill Road
  • 6/10/17 – Marlborough, MA – 865 Donald Lynch Boulevard
  • 6/24/17 – Manchester, NH – 369 South Willow Street
  • 8/5/17 – Nashua, NH – 379 Amherst Street (Rt. 101A) – Somerset Plaza
  • 8/19/17 – Burlington, MA – 15 Greenleaf Way
  • 9/9/17 – Waltham, MA – 130 Lexington Street
  • 10/7/17 – Fitchburg, MA – 350 John Fitch Highway

Paper only - no binders (paper clips, staples and elastics are acceptable). These events will take place rain or shine.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to accommodate as many guests as possible and offer this is as a free service for the community, there is a limit of up to five (5) banker’s boxes (size 24” x 12” x 10 1/4”) or five (5) paper grocery bags (size 12” x 17”) per vehicle.
