We are pleased to announce that our new Waltham Branch located at 130 Lexington Street opened in January 2008. The branch is 7,400 square feet and has 7 private offices, 7 teller stations, 1 sit-down teller station, a self-serve coin machine, night deposit and Internet Café. Other features including a dedicated area for DCU Realty which includes 5 cubicles and an office, a 15 foot opening between DCU and the Dunkin Donuts next door, wireless capability for member use in the Internet Café and waiting areas, plus a Greeter Station that is equipped with hardware and software to demonstrate "PC Deposit".

PC Deposit allow members to scan in checks deposits from home using their PC and a scanner. It's an alternative to mailing in checks, driving to a local DCU ATM, or visiting a Shared Branch network.

In April 2008 DCU implemented the following enhancements to the Loyalty Checking program:

• Signature and PIN-based Check Card purchases become a third way to qualify for Loyalty Checking (and Loyalty Checking Plus).
• Increase ATM surcharge reimbursement to up to $10 per month with Loyalty Checking Plus. Remains up to $5 per month for Loyalty Checking.
• DCU Visa Gift Cards will be Free with Loyalty Checking Plus - a $3.95 value per card. (This replaces free American Express Gift Cheques as a Loyalty Checking Plus benefit)
• Visible Loyalty Checking status - By early April, members will be able to see their current Loyalty Checking level when they log into PC Branch on the Account Summary page. This status will be updated once a month after month-end.

To help our members buy during a down market DCU Realty has lead a series of Foreclosure Bus Tours. DCU Realty offers home sellers and buyers the exceptional service they demand, combined with money-saving options.

Starting in April using your DCU Visa^® will now earn you points that can be redeemed for special offers on DCU's great products and services, as well as charitable donations.

Starting in April DCU is happy to offer payroll services to small businesses through PayCycle.

DCU Insurance is and independent insurance agency for our members in CO, CT, GA, MA, ME, and NH. Members in all other states are served through special arrangements we have made with 2 of the largest insurers in the country Travelers insurance and Liberty Mutual. You can obtain insurance, often at special members-only rates, by contacting the companies directly or via DCU Insurance's website. In addition to auto and homeowners insurance, we are pleased to offer insurance for boats, RVs, motorcycles, ATVs, and personal watercraft.

Early in the morning of December 3, we completed our conversion to a new state-of-the-art software designed especially for credit unions like DCU. This system is the software that processes all your transactions, keeps your records, credits your dividends, generates your statements, helps us answer your questions, and so much more.

Our phone system has been enhanced to automatically ask you to input your member number and 4-digit DCU PIN when you call to speak with an Information Center Representative. This will provide members with added security and faster service.

Total membership grew 9,328 (11.3% annualized) to 340,530 for the first quarter of 2008.

Total outstanding loans have grown about $114 million (12.9% annualized) to $3.65 billion for the first quarter of 2008. Member loans, including those sold and serviced for others, has grown to $4.33 billion for the first quarter of 2008. Members, attracted by our low rates, convenient ways to apply, and variety of payment methods, have opened 19,289 loans, totaling just over $339 million year to date.

Attracted by our competitive dividend rates and safety, members increased their savings at DCU $64 million year to date (7.8% annualized) to about $3.35 billion.

This year DCU added several companies and organizations to our field of membership. DCU has more than 750 participating employers and organizations. The Membership page contains a complete listing.

For the fourth year in a row, DCU received this award as a joint endeavor of the Great Place to Work Institute, Inc. (GPTWI) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The listing ranks both the best 25 small and the best 25 medium companies to work for in America.

DCU's Marketing Department won the Credit Union National Association 2007 Marketing Award for Best Annual Report. It's one of the industry's most honorable awards and was recognized by the federal credit union community.
