DCU nationally honored as one of the 25 Best Places to Work – Four Years in a Row

SHRM and GPTWI Name Top 25 Best Medium Companies to Work for in America

Marlborough, MA, June 26, 2007 – Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU) has been named among the top 25 Best Medium Companies to Work for In America. The list was announced on June 26 before more than 15,000 human resources professionals at the Society for Human Resource Management's (SHRM) 59th Annual Conference & Exposition in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This is the fourth year medium-sized companies were ranked by the Great Place to Work® Institute (GPTWI) – a service that also compiles a large-company ranking for Fortune magazine. The organizations, ranging in size from 251 to 999 employees, were selected and ranked based on the results of a randomly distributed employee opinion survey and a two-part Great Place to Work® Culture Audit and Trust Index©.
Great Place to Work Institute co-founder Rober Levering said, "These companies stand out because their employees find them to be places where they can trust the management, take pride in their work, and have fun. Other companies have much to learn about how to be productive and do right by their people."
DCU, which achieved a rank of 22 on the list, has more than 750 employees. Several hundred companies passed the initial criteria so they could be considered for the list.
DCU, as a not-for-profit, member-owned financial services provider, understands that its people are the service it provides.
