GM Issues Recalls for Nearly 2 Million Vehicles. Is yours one?

GM has announced 6 separate recalls for several problems covering various models and model years. GM has said that owners will be formally notified by mail and that the problems will be corrected for free. - Routing of the 2nd row center safety belt may make it hard to position the lap belt around the hips of occupants. The almost 1.36 million affected vehicles include 2003-2005 model year SUVs and pickups—Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado Crew Cab, Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Sierra Crew Cab, Yukon, Yukon XL, and Hummer H2. - Potential overheating of fuel pump wires could lead to engine stalling. The over 316,000 affected vehicles include 2000-2001 model year 1500 series Chevrolet Suburban and GMC Yukon XL. NHTSA Campaign ID Number: 05V155000
- Brake pedal pushrod clip may have been bent at installation and could come off resulting in no brakes and possibly a crash. This recall affects over 61,000 model year 2005 Buick Lacrosse and Allure models. NHTSA Campaign ID Number: 05V156000
- Intermittent stalling at any time caused by contaminated ignition relay contacts. This recall affects over 31,000 model year 2004 Buick Rendezvous and Pontiac Aztek models. NHTSA Campaign ID Number: 05V157000
- Center and passenger side rear seat belt anchor fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. The seat belt anchor could separate from the floor of the vehicle. This recall affects over 20,000 model year 2002-2004 Saturn L-Series wagons. NHTSA Campaign ID Number: 05V158000
- Parking brake friction linings on pickups with manual transmission may wear to an extent where the parking brake will not hold. This recall affects over 142,000 model year 1999-2002 Chevrolet and GMC 1500 series models, model year 2001-2005 Chevrolet and GMC models 2500/3500 series. NHTSA Campaign ID Number: 05V161000
