If you have a disability, there are several types of modified vehicles on the market to help you get around. Unfortunately, lift-equipped vans, vehicles with hand controls, and other modifications can be very expensive. DCU can help make them more affordable by spreading the cost over time. The borrower need not be the beneficiary of the purchase.

You may open a Mobility Vehicle Loan from $5,000 to $100,000 and take up to 120 months to repay.

If you have a Relationship Checking relationship and make electronic payments for the full term of your loan, your interest rate will be 1/2% below that for other payment methods. See below for more on qualifying repayment methods.

Repaying is easy. You can set up your loan for weekly or monthly payments. Each payment will be the same amount. That amount, and how your previous payments were applied to principal and interest, are shown on your regular DCU monthly statement.

You can repay electronically and qualify for our best rates any of three ways. (1) You can repay online with PC Branch with a simple transfer from any of your DCU savings accounts. When you set up Automatic Transfers with PC Branch, it's even more convenient. (2) You can also make loan payment transfers by phone with Easy Touch. (3) Finally, you can have us automatically make the payments by automatic transfer for you. All you need to do is fill out and send us your authorization form. You can even make Loan Principal-Only Payments on PC Branch and Easy Touch.

In addition, you can repay at a DCU ATM, at any DCU branch, or by mail with a loan payment coupon. These methods do not qualify for Relationship Checking/Electronic Payment rates.

With DCU's Payment Choice, you can tell us how much and when you'd like to pay each month and we'll do our best to make it work. This option is available on all consumer loans, including auto, RV, boat, PC, personal, and bill consolidation loans. At DCU, we give you the control.

Apply on line or by phone 24 hours a day. Most members get an answer while still online. You can apply at any DCU branch location. You can also print out a Vehicle Loan Application and fax it to the Consumer Loan Department at 508.263.6392.
