- Direct deposit your net pay, Social Security, or pension to your checking account2
- Receive all your DCU statements electronically3
- Have an active loan with DCU (such as a DCU Visa Credit Card)

Determining your Checking Level
When you qualify for Checking Plus or Relationship Checking, your account name stays the same in PC Branch and on your statement. To determine your level, you can view the message sent to you in your Message Center inbox in PC Branch, or ask us in any branch, by email, or phone.
Your Checking Level is updated at the beginning of each month and a message will only be sent if your level changes.
Safety and security
At DCU, each member's savings is federally insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a U.S. Government agency. Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA) are insured separately up to $250,000.
Switch Your Checking Account to DCU Today!
Switching your checking account to DCU is easy. Just follow the instructions on our Checking Account Switch Kit and you're on your way. Not a DCU member yet? Joining is easy and there's no DCU membership fee. Check our Branch/ATM Locator to find your nearest branch, call the Information Center at 508.263.6700 or 800.328.8797, weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Eastern time, or visit our membership page for details.
How to Purchase Benefit Levels
If you don't want to or cannot have the qualifying products and services, you can choose to buy them. At the affordable price of $5 per month for Checking Plus benefits and $10 per month for Relationship Checking benefits you can purchase the benefit levels and only pay on the months you don't automatically qualify.
Simply log into PC Branch and select the Checking Benefits Package Form to make your selection. You can also send an email, call us, or stop by any branch.
- Separate approval required. There is no maintenance or annual fee to have this valuable protection. It's only when the service is used that a fee will be charged. Please refer to dcu.org for usage fee details.
- The direct deposit requirement is waived on Checking Plus benefits for members under 23.
- The eStatement requirement is waived on Checking Plus, Relationship Checking, and Relationship Checking with Dividends for members 65 and older.
