   Applying For Consumer Loans by Phone

  1. Before you call, gather the information listed below.
  2. Call 508.263.6700 or 800.328.8797 and select 3, "to apply for mortgage pre-approvals, consumer loans or home equity loans."
  3. Select 3 for the 24-Hour Loan Call Center.

   Information to Gather

  1. Your DCU Member Number
  2. Type of loan or line of credit increase
  3. Loan or credit line amount you want
  4. Item purchase price (if applicable)
  5. Your Social Security Number
  6. Your gross annual income before taxes. You may exclude alimony
    or child support if you don't want it to be considered
  7. If there is a joint applicant, you'll need their...

  • 2-digit birth year
  • Gross annual income
  1. Your approximate monthly cost for ...
  • Rent or house payment
  • Car loan payments
  • Minimum credit card payments
  • Other monthly debt payments
  • Alimony/child support (if applicable)
  1. If this loan replaces a present monthly payment, you'll need the payment amount that the new loan replaces
