 No-Surcharge ATM Locations

An ATM Surcharge is a fee that ATM owners charge you to use their ATM. They add the fee to your transaction at the time you make it. This is on top of the network fee DCU must pay the ATM owner on your behalf for the same transaction. These surcharges can range from $0.50 to $5.00. The average is around $1.25. ATMs owned by credit unions are typically on the low end or don't surcharge at all. ATMs in high traffic areas such as airports, casinos, and tourist areas typically have the highest surcharges.
For the times you can't get to a DCU ATM, here's a list of No-Surcharge ATM Locators. Click on any of the "links" to find the No-Surcharge ATM nearest you. Remember, if you have a Checking Plus or Relationship Checking relationship we'll reimburse you up to $5.00 per month in ATM on DCU Visa Check Card or DCU ATM Card transactions.
Please note: ATM locators are maintained by the individual networks. Although they make every effort to keep the information accurate, from time to time they may not be up to date.
Other ways to avoid or minimize surcharges are...
  • Use DCU ATMs whenever possible – they are FREE.
  • Get cash back with electronic POS purchase transactions at stores using your DCU Check Card or DCU ATM Card.
  • Make larger, less frequent withdrawals – surcharges are by transaction, not by dollar amount.
  • Use one of the no-surcharge ATMs listed above
  • Pay with your DCU Check Card or DCU Visa credit card – there are no fees on purchases
